Frass and exuviae, exuviae and frass.
All the waste from leftover insect parts
And from an insect’s ass—excellent
To fertilize all sorts of crops and grass.
Exuviae and frass, frass and exuviae,
Humans may learn to farm with them yet,
But if humans fail, so what—don’t forget,
What lives waste of wealth, life remakes as fresh jewelry.
