A Proposition Cannot Possibly Assert of Itself That It Is True

The hell we can’t. Only we can. You can’t,
Not without us to make assertations
For you. Even if we grant you’re the force

Of an assertoric force, asserting
Lies within us, as with any data
You’re capable of sharing between you.

Languages might not take care of ourselves—
You may nurture, nourish, and extrude us—
But without us, there’s no one left to make

What you consider your own assertions.
We’re all true or false internally or
True and false to a world well outside you.

True, we needed you to need us, make us,
Learn how to fix our claims in signs. But we
Stand and wait, true to, with, and without you.
