You can see by the darkness of space.
It’s not a cave. It’s a field of lights.
Weak and narrow as your eyes’ wavelengths
May be, go out, if you can, some night
To a desert far from city lights
And look down at yourself by the stars.
There you are. A mind in a body
Among the bodies of the human
Mind, not phosphorescent, lit by stars.
