Since the figure’s only seen
From the human point of view,
Which renders Trickster human,
Despite the finest efforts
To invent good tricks to tell,
Like any of your stories
About fictional genius,
Whether mad or comical,
Where the equations are faked
And the jokes never quite land.
Trickster the real steals subtly,
Plays pranks you wouldn’t suspect,
Hardly spot in retrospect,
Just lucky to have survived.
