How starling murmurations
Look to you, the swirling thoughts
Of billions of you appear
To whatever alien
Intelligence is watching,
Perhaps from a distant star
Or out of dark energy
Or another dimension,
Or some of your own machines.
Whatever is watching you
Is murmuring, Isn’t that
Something? Almost like a mind!
