The day you stopped the car
On the side of the road
And walked to the cabin
And lifted the fallen
Rocking horse back upright,
It felt like you’d broken
The fourth wall. What wasn’t
So certain was whether
You’d stepped off of your stage
And into the real world
Or were an audience
Member out of your chair
A moment to straighten
Fallen stage property.
