Having imagined
A lovely planet,
Lovelier than Earth

By far, for herself,
A peaceful planet,
Dunya Mikhail still

Concluded her sketch—
Including the boats
Like smiles on water—

With the confession
She hesitated
To go alone. Oh,

Take someone with you
Or stiffen your spine,
But go, for God’s sake!

If you really know
Such a planet, don’t
Worry. Don’t wait. Go.

Some of us would be
Happy just to know
Someone did it. Go.
