Said the farmer of the crop.
It is, but it’s not as fair.
In real gambling, the game’s set
With rules and odds, and if rigged
In favor of the house, or
In favor of the grifter,
Those are problems for the fish
Who knew well, swimming in
They were both plausible risks.
But farming? Markets? Wars? Life?
Those gambles games can’t contain,
Although games can enhance gains,
Which is why people play games—
Once gaming was invented,
Gambling became more constrained.
