Wielding Hundun’s Lantern

Diogenes and Zhuangzi,
Assuming either person
Taught in the actual flesh,

Were probably both unhinged,
Incapable of being
Anything other than strange,

Not cut out to be social
Successes. This doesn’t mean
They weren’t wise or didn’t teach

Insights still worth learning from—
There’s wisdom in foolishness,
As wisdom is foolishness.
