Just because you know what’s true
Doesn’t mean you can live like

Choreograph the lion’s

Share of the dances you do.
You bob your head. They bob you.

Likewise, watch out for our friend
And fellow word, hypocrite—

When applied consistently,
Every blessed human fits.

Applied inconsistently,
Hypocrite’s hypocrisy.

Maybe you can know the truth,
But the truth won’t set you free.

Life frees lives from life, but all
Life lives extravagantly.
